NorCham Co-Hosts Arctic Cool Event with the Norwegian Embassy

NorCham Washington, D.C. had the honor of co-hosting the 11th annual Arctic Cool event alongside the Norwegian Embassy. This annual celebration highlights the strong Norwegian-American bilateral relationship, with a special focus on the Arctic, a region of significant importance to both nations.

The evening was filled with lively networking, featuring cultural festivities that showcased the best of Norway. Guests enjoyed live music, bonfire pits, and a photobooth complete with Norwegian-themed props. A culinary highlight of the event was the serving of traditional Norwegian dishes, including wild game stew and king crab gratin, prepared by renowned chef Eilif.

Earlier in the day, NorCham DC hosted its annual meeting, where President Idar Voldnes noted the rapid growth of the chapter, with seven new members already joining in 2025.

This year’s Arctic Cool was a perfect blend of business, culture, and camaraderie, strengthening the bonds between Norway and the United States.
